The 1982 Men's varsity soccer season wasthe second year of the program.. I was now full-time coach at the school. In addition to the men's team, I started a women's club program and I ran the Intramural Sports Program.

The team went 11-9-1 in that second season. We lost to Division I teams Memphis State University, Alabama, Centenary College,University of Alabama-Birminham, University of New Orleans, Nicholls State University and NAIA Belhaven. The team consisted of mainly sophmores and freshmen.

Major Wins were two victories over Southwestern, A 2-1 victory at Nicholl State.

Managers were Dana Doyle and Dawn Dietrich.
