An Over-30 State team was selected and the team participated in the Region III Championships held in New Orleans, LA. In addition to our home grown Mississippi lads the team had a real international flavor with players originally from England, Brazil, Ireland, Iran, South Africa, Laos, Argentina and Colombia.

We won our group, defeated x in the Semi-Finals and met the Oklahoma champion from Tulsa in the Finals. They were an extremely tough group of Scots and Brits that worked in the oil industry.

The match ended in 1-1 draw and we fell in the penalty kick shoot-out. We went home with second place in the South.
