The Leigh D4R Pro Dovetail Jig is capable of creating through dovetails, half-blind dovetails, sliding dovetails, and a number of specialized dovetails or finger joints.

Installing the Unit

The jig and the accessory package were delivered as shown here.

I removed all items and did a quick inventory.

The jig has a milled aluminum body with an adjustable finger system. All bits, reducers, and guide bush needed to perform half-blind and through dovetails are included.

The accessory package included the VRS D24 unit (Vacuum and Router Support), with supports and adaptors. Also included are 8 bits, several collets, and a bit storage box. |
