Electrical
The electrical system for the shop was connected to the main
house breaker box with a 100A 220v breaker. The cable was laid in
a trench and run to the rear of the shop. The service wire was delivered
to the 200A main shop breaker box. |

The 32 breaker box was configured

The service wire was connected to the main house breaker box and ran in conduit to the rear northwest corner of the house. There it entered the trench and emerged at the rear northwest corner of the shop.
George and Jacob dug the trench with a rented Ditch Witch. There were issues with roots and with an underground Bell South wire. Jacob had to do some "cutting Mattock" work.

The shop panel box provided plenty of circuits, was large enough for easy work in the unit, and provides plenty of room for expansion.
